Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow, with over 1.5 hours of waiting between our starters and mains. Despite booking for a 2pm lunch, our mains did not arrive until 4.30pm. Some dishes were missing and one pre-booked dish was not available. The food was served at a temperature ranging from cold to lukewarm, likely due to the fact that they were plating 45 minutes before the dishes were served. The timing of the courses was disorganized, with some of us finishing before others had even received their food. Dessert took 20 minutes to arrive after being told it was ready. The food itself was not particularly tasty, making the long wait even more disappointing. We are giving the restaurant 2 stars instead of 1, as the manager did not charge us full price due to our dissatisfaction with the experience.
Excellent food. Dog friendly. Changed the menu for us. Thank you for looking after us all. The Sumner Family
Loverly pub, good pint of Timothy Taylor. Visit spoilt by children playing ball in the Bar area, constant thud of a bouncing ball during our visit. Such a shame.
We popped in for Sunday lunch. Glad we did, it was absolutely delicious! Lots of veggies and everything was really tasty. Probably the best Sunday lunch I’ve had for a long long time! Would highly recommend
Was on holiday went for an evening meal . We all had a whitebait starter. When it came out it only consisted of 3 pieces on some lettuce which was very disappointing. We then had a long wait for our main we were the only ones eating. However our barmaid waitress was very friendly
