Angry Goldfish Pub Eatery - Des Moines

The waitress was very kind and made us a great job search. Food and drinks came in time. So many food choices! I have meat, potatoes and corn. Hubby got the PB and J Burger (peanut sauce and a strawberry jam sauce on a burger) and Tator deaths. It was all very good and drinks were great!

That was our first time here the food was very good! My wife got the hot beef special I got the Grassiano meat store dinner. The hot beef actually had lumps of beef stew roast in it not only cut roast beef deli meat. The meat leaf has its own brand of spicy ketchup on it, which really distinguishes it from other meat lambs dinner. We both loved the potatoes that had great taste texture. The only reason I have there are 4 stars instead of 5 is for two reasons, the parking here is terrible, what makes the visit of a Hassle the honey butter that they serve with the corn bread is really sweet, much too sweet for my taste. Overall, it was a good meal.

Great mood, great service and good food. In the city for a competition and decided to try it based on reviews. I'm so glad we did it. We enjoyed everything we had and the service was great. Very welcome.

In a huge group for a business trip and we all had a good experience. Our waitress was nice and accommodating, she also had very good recommendations. The food was good and cheap as well as the drinks. There's nothing about it, but it's worth a visit if you're in the area for lunch or dinner. They also had beautiful drinks specialties that are always a bonus.

4.5 stars if it was an option to pick! The lack of a 5-star is only because some of the ingredients felt more processed and out of a can or jar instead of handmade. That being said, this was a great eating experience and I highly recommend. We got the Angry Goldfish, Poutine, Boursin Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Asian PB and J Burger and the Sweet Pig Mac and Cheese. The only one that did not impress was the Mac and Cheese. Had there not been bacon on it, this would have failed miserably and I will not order again. The Asian PB and J was my favorite entree of them all. The other items were good. The Pub staff and server we had were welcoming and gave good service. This is a must eatery on your visit to the Des Moines area. They have inside and outside dinning.
