Long John Silver's - Des Moines

Workers are friendly and friendly, food is great and always ready very fast, but hot and fresh. Recommend the fish and shrimps. Hush puppies are a MUST.

Previously, to be several locations in Iowa, I am only aware of the Cedar Rapids Des Moines locations. We visited the Des Moines Stores lobby was closed, but the ride was open. Had 2 pieces of fish with Hush puppies natural and pommes. Just wonderful!

I'm visiting for my LJS repair once a month. This location is always on site. Friendly and efficient staff. The broken comfort food I'm here for is always hot and fresh. I have gone to this place for 5 years and in all this time they have made a mistake in my order! Nice for 60 visits over time. You drive through the service during the coronavirus and do this well. My typical order is a plate with drink. Costs of $10-12 and a lot for 2 to 3 meals.

I got there 15 min before they closed the lobby. I dinned in but even though they closed the lobby they didn't rush me out. It was very nice.

Was they busy the day I went. Wowser!!! So the kine took forever but the food was fabulous. Friendly workers. Just really busy that day.
