Sharky's Grill Bbq - Dewey Beach

Meh. If you like being nickel and dimed for mediocre food on paper plates, this is the place for you. “We don’t have tap water only bottled (Sam’s Club)”, credit card fee, overpriced coffee drinks, paper plates and plastic cups and utensils only. Food was basic and uninterested. Seating ahead is full of flies and pretty uninspired. I asked the people I was with if they’d go back and the response for all was “nah.” This is an easy skip.

Awesome little outdoor local spot that you could window order and sit where ever. Now they have turned it into a sit down and order with a waiter traditional restaurant type set up and we weren’t a fan. Adds some cost and just kind of takes away from why we have grown to love this place in the past. Lots of sit down to eat breakfast places we will probably go check out in dewey instead of sharky’s now.2022 Update: still sticking with the host, waiter concept. It drives the cost of a meal with my family up noticeably. This place was so much more enjoyable when you window ordered and sat wherever you wanted.2023 Update: ordered breakfast for our family this morning. A small OJ is $7! Kids had eggs, French toast, pancakes. Wife had a smoothie. Our bill was $80! For breakfast! Plastic silverware and paper plates, sat at a table where the grass has grown up to the seats. They charged us 3.25% fee for using a credit card. These are all bad things.20 years ago I loved this place. Every time we go I’m reminded of how much it has changed for the worse. $80 to feed my family a basic breakfast is crazy, I didn’t even get anything. The suggested tips on our bill were 20%, 22%, 25%. I hate that I feel like I’m being scammed and ripped off for breakfast. I feel like we can never go back. Our dinner at Starboard was cheaper and I had a beer last night.

Don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't overpriced, mediocre food served on paper plates with plastic ware. I always see people at this establishment during the summer season, decided to try if during off season. Needless to say I won't be returning. Totally not worth the money, especially adding the CC surcharge to boot.

Great service, but terrible omelettes, home fries, toast coffee. Way expensive, almost $50 with tip. Nothing else open and nearby on Wednesday though.

Excellent, my family had breakfast there every day we were in Dewey Beach. Highly recommend it. Ask for Ben
