Hillman's Seafood Fish House

I called in an order for peeled shrimp, a nice size to boil, shrimp for ceviche, crab claws. I talked to the person and explained exactly why I needed different sizes of shrimp. The whole point going to Hillman’s was my friend told me they sold peeled shrimp and ranted how great they were. My husband went to pick up the order. I never thought I needed to tell him what he was picking up because of my friends rave review of how they pick up orders there all of the time. Stupid me for placing my faith in someone else’s experience. Here we are, ready to leave town, all we have are the shrimp to boil. Is it so hard to fill an order correctly? I guess so. Lesson learned. Just go to Katie’s, purchase what I want, don’t be lazy about not wanting to peel a few shrimp. At least, I’d be happy now.

Hidden gem for seafood shopping . You better call before you come for freshest crab shipment. Service and quality unbelievable. We end up buying a lot of crab and crab and shrimp ?

Small family owned fish market. I don't think you could get any fresher! Support your local fishermen and stop by this location.

Love the prices of their fresh seafood and I always stock up on their famous shrimp coleslaw. I ate here as a child ik the 70's when it was a restaurant. It's a family staple.
