I am not 100% sure that the photo makes it fair. it is also a good coffee, a black coffeemaker they have no masking agent, good brew. Eat wise, good choice, rainbow wraps are popular, eat in or take away. we had the marinated tofu burger than gf and the big gourmet salat bowl. both were good decisions. the burger than gf is obviously somewhat rustic (code for company). large plate of tofu, not over plentiful in taste and I didn't get a good whack of the Tuscan bean pine so though nice it was somewhat underwhelming. the gourmet salad bow was good, grated beet root, carrot, tabbouli etc. with a tahini lemon dressing, good solid, simple and beautiful.
Variety of vegan dishes that are full of sweets. the suppe of the day is always great. updated by previous review on 2021-05-02
I love the tofu burgers available here they are filling and well presented.
Outdoor seating with white umbrellas, indoor tables and bar with stools. Coffees, smoothies, gelato only one vegan flavour when I was there) and sorbets, desserts, slices, balls. Burgers, wraps, sandwiches. Breakfasts on weekends only. I had the marinated tofu burger on a sourdough bun $10.80), large and satisfying, with plenty of lettuce. It was served promptly. I took away a piece of vegan strawberry cake $5.50), which was nice. Located in the Dickson shopping mall, on a corner, sort of opposite the post office; rear door is opposite The Source bulk foods store.
This is a great vegetarian place with healthy fresh food, it is run by Sri Chinmoy. Unfortunately it's one of those places that is great for vegetarians but with not so many options for vegans. I hope they become more vegan friendly. On my last visit staff were very helpful making delicious vegan veggie burger skipping the raita (which they also hand out at running races!
