Papa John's Pizza - Didcot

Went here on 22nd November 2019 and the pizza was fantastic. I am really surprised by the poor reviews but management must have changed. This was the best Papa John's I've had. Pizza loaded with toppings nicely spread and perfectly cooked. It looks like the manager was the chef, the guy is doing a cracking job.

I ordered a puzzle, the driver was very friendly and the food arrived quickly. the whole food was very delicious, my only complaining was that there was not much cheese, and the crust was very thick. a very nice pizza. I order again! pizza came very fast and was much better prepared than last time. nothing was missing from the order, including no cheese on one of the pizzas.

I placed my order through the app, which was user-friendly. I opted for the £28.99 deal, which included two large pizzas, two sides, and a bottle of Pepsi Max. The app allowed me to track the progress of my order, so I headed over a few minutes after receiving the notification that it was ready. It took me about 15 minutes to drive to my friends’ place, so I put the food in an insulated bag to keep it hot during the trip. When we dug in, we all agreed that the pizza was quite good! It was still hot, nicely topped, well-cooked, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The sides—potato wedges and jalapeño poppers—were also decent. With four of us sharing, there was plenty to eat; we couldn’t finish it all! Based on this experience, we would all gladly order from here again.

We ordered from Papa John's in Didcot at 5 PM on Saturday and requested delivery. To our pleasant surprise, it arrived at 5:30 PM! We missed a dive, but that was the only complaint we had. The pizzas were fantastic, especially with the £25 deal for two pizzas, two sides, and a drink. We were also pleased to see a variety of vegan options, particularly the inclusion of vegan sausage on the menu. We'll definitely be ordering again!

Here's my assessment of the restaurant: I've visited the lower-rated Papa John's Pizza in Didcot several times (it currently holds a 2.8-star rating), even though I'm not from Oxfordshire and only come to the area occasionally. But I must say, I am very pleased with both the service and the quality of the products at this location. I've ordered from them at least six times over the past few months before deciding to write this review. Like many others, I appreciate a good deal when it comes to quick meals, and Papa John's in Didcot often has fantastic offers for takeout, such as a large pizza for just £7.99! This definitely wasn't my first visit, and I have to say, I have never been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful on my pizza, which is something you don't often see with other well-known brands. I love the flavor and the friendly service—every visit has come with a smile.
