Contribuisci feedbackLai Lai is a gloriously tasty Chinese-American restaurant serving Douglas for almost 30 years. The rice and lo mine are the best of the best out there, Bar None. They are with a magnificent, wok meerrot flavor, wok hei when you become. It is a character lacking in the food of most other restaurants throughout the state. I am personally a big fan of her egg rolls, crab scales, General Tso's chicken, Teriyaki chicken and hot and soup. The hot and sour soup is the best in the world, I never had better. The rest of this article is very well done. I would say that the most popular product is the orange chicken, since someone has to order it when I go for my food. There's something for everyone to enjoy here. From sweet: sweet and sour, pineapple and lemon chicken, to savory: Mongolic beef, garlic chicken and curry chicken. They have a special lunch that can be ordered from 11-3 every day that they are open. With the lunch special you get fried rice or lo mine, a small spring roll, and you take the beef, chicken or pork portions of the menu beautifully in a draw-out container for only $6.50. It is an absolutely great value for the price! All in all, if you like old school Chinese food and want to participate in the classics, Lai Lai is the place to go. Although they are the only game in the city, they do it absolutely right! (NOTE: Since February 2022, Lai Lai Lai is only open for implementation. If you call before time, you can go your food ready for you when you arrive.
Absolutely good food! I spoke to the owner about the current situation. She refuses to open for food soon because she won't take a chance on the virus. They make great precautions, even though they are worried about the amount of the company. I loved eating. Great portions. Worth the money. I don't live in Douglas, but I'll stop in Lai Lai when I'm here!
Only open for takeout. The food was very good and the portions are big!! I could not finish my sweet sour pork. Hubby couldn't finish his General Tsao Chicken. I definitely recommend it!
Remember to tip. The lady is just too gracious to want to accept it. The food is good. We order frequently for takeout. Always have to leave the pay and run before the gracious owner tries to return my tip as my change.
The food is what you expect to go for the price and orders. Orders have been completed correctly and in time.
