Overall the cuisine in upstate New York is a downgrade from what I 'm used to in SoCal but this place is the exception to that, to be fair it leans into the things that east coasters actually are good at, such as baking bread and slicing meat and cheese; as Pete Davidson said in his now-infamous Taco Bell commercial they serve tasty, simple food with quality ingredients prepared with militant precision. The price is fair, and the fare is consistently great. I always got two of the same thing when I lived in Dover plains and now that I live further afield I get four of the same thing and reheat two of them later.

It's just well run and dependable. Want it right and the same good quality every time? This is a hometown family run place that's been getting it right for decades.
