VEN Restaurant - Dresden

Very nice restaurant. eating was lovely! the personal was very nice. the brot on heated stone was very funny idea.

A stylish and stylish ambiente in the avant-garde restaurant at the innside of meliá dresden. the hotel itself is very new and the entrance to ven is located on the side street facing an empty space. therefore we stayed alone in this great and very beautiful place. we were accompanied on the window seat through the bar (yes, opposite the side street and the ugly building zone) even if we wanted to have one seat on the other window opposite the winter garden. the personal said his only one to dinner, that was quite creepy. Anyway, we were handed over to the menu (through a new and completely inexperienced staff at the trainee) and we chose caesar salad, pumpkin soup and pasta. everything was very nice (taste n presentation) except for many anchovies in my salad. besides the unsatisfied service (too much excuse for the staff) price-performance ratio is excellent!

Slow, bad service. They put water bottle on a counter off table, nice touch but i had to get up and cross the room to get more water. Ordered the 4 course meal because it had coq a von as main dish. Tuna tartare was fine, soup ok but the coq a von was the worst I have ever eaten. It was cooked and i was hungry, so i ate my boiled chicken seared in red wine. The dessert was awful, try sticking to 5 elements not 10, work on flavors not design.

We were staying in the hotel it was very convenient the food was good the paella was very good the vegetarian dinner portion baked potato and vegetables it was not good the vegetables were nonexisting and a baked potato with smothered with some kind of cream probably sour cream and potato have been cooked earlier so I was not happy with that the bread service for the beginning of the meal was very nice and the sorbet was very good this is supposed to be a Michelin star restaurant so I expected more the waitress was very nice and it was very pricey
