The greatest disappointment is the “conservation” of the chefs. It's a lot downhill over the years. They follow their script, but there is not the same interaction with the diners as they used to. The food was good and the service of our waitress was really good.
My wife and I made a reservation and took place quite quickly. The waiter got our drinks and order in quite a short time. Our drinks took a long time to get and the sushi we ordered (usually like to get more than an appetizer) came at the end of the hibachi.. and we had to ask and seem like our waiter completely forgotten. Other people on our table also had problems. (missing white rice, waiter wrote no sushi roll that we heard her order, everyone lacked their green tea that is included). Spending over $150 on our order and getting this lack of service was very disappointing and frustrating. Will not recommend or be back at this point.
Benihana is always great for special occasions. My only complaint is that the cook did not give up much of a show, my daughter (5 yo) waited for the onion volcano, but the cook waited to do it after everything was done and my daughter was in the toilet. It was good, but we were a little dissapointed, my only other complaint was I had the spicy chicken and my drink was not refilled.
Wasn’t the greatest. Waited almost an hour to get some sushi. Took another 30 mins for the food to actually start. It’s Sunday with 3 other tables. They forgot one of the meal for our party so she ate zucchini for 30 mins. It was a six course meal but our waitress brought the bills and was surprised when we asked for dessert that come with the meal. Constantly, have to ask for water or drink refill.
