Tokyo Grill Express Duncan

Tokyo grill express is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants that I have ever been in Duncan right to Fuji or it could be better and I love it and the staff are nice and friendly and they are clear to understand

So glad I finally decided to try this place. The restaurant was so clean. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the food was so good and fresh! I'm definitely back.

If I gave this place a half star. I'll go in first and go to the counter to order my food. The boy who was at the bar doesn't see me (not sure how not because I was one of two people in the restaurant) I'll order my food and go. I guess they're going to assume it's going to go, but they don't ask if I'm gonna sit down at a stand. Then I have to go to the checkout to pick up my food. I try to win the waiter to have more soy sauce, but he seems to ignore me. I got the attention of one other guest in the restaurant and they had to tell the waiter that I had to be helped. When the waiter came, I also asked him to add another plate to my order. I finished my food and go to the counter to pay. I'm standing in front of this kid and he's totally looking at me and greeting people behind me. I ignored it and let her end. Then ANOTHER guests come to the counter and he greets them, completely ignores me again. I told him something to help him. This is unacceptable and rude. The carrots are also soft and coarse.

The first time in a while at this place. The food was great and my waitress made the experience even better. Very knowledgeable about the menu and so hospitable. Didn't catch her name, but she saw her 20s or something. I will make this place a regular stop every week!

Marvin was my server and he was 10/10 I couldn?t have asked for better. Always on the ball and attentive. Had extensive menu knowledge and seemingly a lot of experience. Food is great. Sushi is phenomenal and Yakitori is so amazing. Would definitely return!
