Contribuisci feedbackI visit every year my shiny and discovered scone age during our last visit. I always appreciate the new vegan-friendly places that pop up. I ordered the vegan/gf zimtrolle. To be honest, it didn't look like it wasn't-vegan's counterpart. it looked more like a Scone/Biscuit in shape. but it was actually quite delicious. my only conclusion is the entire vegan baked goods are also gluten-free. I don't like it when automatically put the two. I am not gf, so I prefer my vegan goodies with “regular” flour. the gentleman on the theke said that the Cassava meal works well with vegan wine, because it does not bind the ice, milk component in it, etc. and keeps good (or something like that). I don't agree. I had killer vegan cumbling, the best I ever had, full of gluten. I would encourage them to experiment. do not misunderstand me, it is great that they offer these options for different nutritional preferences and needs, but I just don't like when vegan/gf are automatically coupled together and I don't choose. I'm sure that many pebbles were the same about vegans (if not vegan).
All their vegan scene are gluten-free. when we asked, the owner did not seem to know the difference. he said the recipe is not borrowing. we said we had made vegan skorone without any ice or butter and he murmured something under his breath. Maybe he had a bad day.
I was lucky to find this fantastic restaurant! The owner, Larry, was a really nice guy who went out of his way to accommodate my mother and me. The food was delicious and freshly made. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back in the future!
On the day we went there were several options, including fantastic sticky rolls and scones. coffee was also excellent.
During our recent visit, I discovered a new shiny and charming vegan bakery. I always enjoy finding new vegan-friendly places to dine at. I decided to try the vegan/gluten-free cinnamon roll, although it didn't really resemble a traditional cinnamon roll in appearance, it was surprisingly delicious. My only gripe is that all the vegan baked goods at this bakery are also gluten-free. Personally, I prefer my vegan treats made with "regular" flour as I am not gluten-free. The staff explained that cassava flour works well for vegan baking as it doesn't affect the texture or binding properties of the baked goods. However, I have had delicious vegan pastries made with gluten-containing flour before, so I believe they should experiment with different flour options. I appreciate the bakery offering these options for different dietary preferences, but I wish the vegan/gluten-free options weren't automatically paired together. I'm sure that other non-vegan customers feel the same way. Overall, I had a wonderful vegan dessert experience and would encourage the bakery to continue innovating their menu.
