We have three articles and ever a hot drink because we couldn't choose and they were all delicious, including the big coffee. Various non-milk available. The price was also great, 2 full believers here without breaking the bank. Will note this place and come back when we are over.
All the muffins are vegan, a blueberry croissant and a vegan haggis home made sausage roll. I had a blue berry muffin, and my husband a meat sausage roll. Both were very good. Big selection of vegan mills, oat, soya, almond and coconut.
We ordered two hot drinks, a sausage roll, and two generously sized cakes, which came to a total of £13 - a reasonable price. The sausage roll was unexpected, with a filling of barley and crumbs. It was large enough for my partner and I to share. The regular coffee was good, but the Mocha was outstanding. The cakes, including muffins and a creative tiffin, were also delicious. We would have liked to sit inside, but luckily the weather was not too bad.
Great selection of affordable, freshly made dishes and welcoming service.
I was delighted to discover this small restaurant during my brief visit to the charming town. Although their choices for vegans were limited, I opted for the vegan Haggis roll for a light snack, which they kindly warmed up for me. I believe they also had vegan cakes available, but my memory from my visit a few weeks ago is a bit hazy. The coffee was tasty and they offered non-dairy milk options. It's a lovely spot, so fingers crossed for good weather! Orders are brought out to you, so there is no need to wait inside. There is parking to the north with a couple of picnic benches nearby, as well as a picturesque ruined cathedral to explore and a serene riverside by the beautiful River Tay to relax by (though bring something to sit on as there are no benches at the moment!). If you prefer a seated dining experience, Palmerstons is located next door and has a listing on HappyCow, though I did not personally visit them.
