They have a slightlly different wait staff system; 2 wait staff take orders, 1 brings water and bread and clears/sets up tables and 1 delivers the food. It may not have been the fastest system but this is an upscale restaurant and we were not looking to be rushed or feel rushed. They offered my favorate appetizer, beef carpaccio andf it was perfect. Thinner than paper slices of filet, shaved parm, capers, arugula and toasted bread. My husband had the shrimp and lobster ravioli and had not one complaint. Trust me, that is a real rarity for him. I had the Veal Tonnato (veal scallopini and Ahi tuna in a lemon/white wine sauce). I was able to cut the veal with my fork. The Ahi was seared perfectly and the sauce was flavorful without being overbearing. All in all, an excellant meal. We should have picked this place for our last night in Durango a real memory.
Amazing All Around. A trip to this restaurant is always the highlight of my month. I think we lucked out! The owner really knows his Italian food and has hand-picked some quality servers. We enjoyed the experience if anything else, but the food never disappoints!
It was great! Awesome food and service. Would recommend if your looking for a nice Italian dinner.
Delicious!. This is a very nice restaurant that isn't a red sauce Italian joint. <br/ <br/ Every dish we have had here screams quality. After only two visits in the past year we have wished we could make it a regular establishment to visit, but with quality you also get price.<br/ <br/ On our most recent visit we had chicken skewers with an italian slaw and chipotle aoli. YUM! For an entree I had their steak special which was a superbly aged cut smothered in a butter and mushroom reduction. My wife had Clams in a white sauce on fettucini which the white sauce was not a ton of melted cheese, but a well executed white wine reduction. <br/ <br/ Their wine selection was limited but of quality. The beer selection the same, but I am a fan of the local SKA Brewery and they did have their Pinstripe on tap, poured into a frosty glass.<br/ <br/ Being quite full we ordered two desserts to take home to the cabin: Tiramisu and Cannaloni. Even in a to go box they prepped it with extreme care and attention to detail. They were both superb. <br/ <br/ Amazing food! You cannot beat it. Even the bread and butter they serve gratis is awesome. We will go here again in the Spring to taste their seasonal menu.
This restaurant is permanently closed. many thanks to them that they maintain their website and thanks to a lot to open table for a reservation. the Valentine's Day dinner was ruined.
