Almendra Winery Distillery - Durham

The historic French style cognac still is definitely the main showpiece of this distillery, and they are using as intended to make some fantastic brandy (and Bourbon, Rye and Gin).

We had a get family get together after my Dad Ralph K Blasingame service in Chico, it was the perfect place to reminisce. The food was delicious, we ordered pizza, sweet potato fries, bacon wrapped shrimp and salads. All of the food was exceptional. They even had diet ginger beer (hard to find in most places). We will be returning for more meals. Highly recommend for any type of family gathering.

The New York Steak and Sea Bass dinners are amazing. Very nice to be served a full meal with no add on charges for sides/salad. Food was prepared very well, and is very consistent. Love having a nice place to have a great dinner in Durham.

Stephanie?s service was impeccable. She was attentive and followed up. Bar tender was knowledgeable and accommodating. Purchased the strawberry vodka! Can?t wait to try it at home. Reserve wines were FABULOUS!! We haven?t tried the reserve wines, and they?re amazing. Italian varietals are the best, and you have nailed them. Keep it up!! Food was perfect! At the Musculan ?? salad and pepperoni pizza. Wow. Just perfect.

Everything was great! Other than inflation related price increases, I've no complaints. Hopefully prices will normalize to prices similar to last year's. Service was excellent, food was fresh, and the drinks cold and plenty. As a local, it's my go to spot for a date night with the wifey.
