Instead, it came with a tiny prise shredded cheese a tiny piece of avocado and tomato dishes. the potato soup I ordered was potato water. I have it to my 2 year old who eats everything and she says: jucky. can't believe I paid for it. it's not even worth going back. bad quality, bad things really. if I knew what I got, I would have gone to the dollar store and got frozen chili and a bag of chips to dinner.
I've been to this spot in the past and remembered it being a good spot for lunch. Today's visit wasn't a great experience, though. Short wait to order and pleasant staff, but exceptionally long wait for the food (we ordered basic sandwiches). We had two parties at our table and the orders were mixed up. The steamed broccoli had brown spots and the ham was not good. I wouldn't recommend, especially given the number of other similar style restaurants in the area.
Generally, I really like McAlisters, but my visits to this location have been abysmal. The first time, the issue was there wasn’t a single clean table in the restaurant. Not one! I counted them for this review, 17 unoccupied dirty tables and the rest were occupied, probably by people who sat down at a dirty table. When I complained to the manager, she said they were too busy to clean tables. They weren’t. There wasn’t a line and they had multiple employees at the counter standing around. This was a really disappointing experience. Maintaining a clean restaurant is essential and this crew (including the manager who I spoke to directly about the issue) just didn’t care and it was painfully obvious. The second time, the dining room was again filled with dirty tables and employees were standing around. Then my baked potato was served raw. I mean raw. When I took it to the counter they acknowledged it wasn’t prepared properly. You don’t say! When I returned to my table, a guy sitting near me was busy complaining that his food had been improperly prepared as well. Unfortunately, this restaurant is a total disaster and I can’t imagine a scenario in which you have a positive experience.
Horrible service. Went at 7PM. They were out of almost everything. No sweet tea. No broccoli cheddar soup. No diet drinks. My wife son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The girl thought they were out of that too. Guy in back said he thought they had enough. Both of their sandwiches had very little meat. I ordered a club. It had no cheddar or swiss cheese. No one said a thing about it. No sorry we ran out of cheese . Took it back to the counter the girl just said, Yep. We are out of cheese. Again, no apology given. Sat back down realized I had no bacon. Went back. They were out of that too. Hardly any ham on it. I 'll never go back.
On 10/7/20, I used the McAlister app to order my dinner. I 'm a nurse traveler and have usually had really good service food at the restaurants across the South. Not that night. I was missing my tomato cucumber salad and they replaced a lemonade with tea because they ran out . If you read the reviews this tends to be a problem there. I called and spoke the manager Judy, who was amazing and stated that she would replace the whole meal. AWESOME!! That is, however, until I went back the next day for the replacement meal. It was a different manager (Wendy). She called Judy to verify our conversation (which made me feel like a bum). I picked up our food, got back to the hotel, AND IT WAS AGAIN MISSING ITEMS!!! Like, if you 're going through the trouble to give away free food because you messed up the first time, you 'd think they double check it. When I called Wendy. I told her, I am not trying to be hard to get along with, but it 's missing food again. All she said was Ok . I told her I would not be using that establishment again. She apologized by saying I 'm sorry , then hung up. Wow. I work hard for my money, and when I pay for an item, I expect it. That 's all. Don 't go there, use the one in Apex.
