Both starters were excellent and not too large. For the Main Course, one of had the Fettuccine Bolognese and two of us had the Everything Crusted Salmon, all three main entrees were cooked to our liking. For dessert we each tried a different one, chocolate pie, strawberry shortcake, and the mini sampler of bite sized portions of chocolate pie, strawberry shortcake, blueberry crumble topped with an American Flag. The desserts were wonderful. Ambience is busy as it is a small restaurant inside but, not so much that you could not talk and enjoy your meal.
We should really go to this restaurant more often. The food is delicious. The cauliflower appetizer and tuna mango salad was delicious. The Chicken schnitzel with the egg and branzino was fantastic. I am not a big dessert fan but I had a bite of the chocolate something and everyone on our party raved about it. Service was seamless. I hope they stay nearby. Five stars!
Do not go to this restaurant unless you want to argue with the waitstaff about the routine 22% gratuity that is their policy to add (without any prior disclosure) to the bill during the summer months. Dining room was noisy and a cave; we needed flashlights to see the menu. Food was passable but hugely overpriced, thus making the unwarranted gratuity even higher. Two dishes were brought to the table not as ordered (but both were replaced). Parking is difficult, so valet is essentially required. We will not be going back.
Every time I dine at The Kitchen, it is a memorable experience. The food is superb as well as the service. They have the best Bronzino of any restaurant in South Florida! The chef is creative and every dish is a winner! If you are a foodie, this is a must do!
Restaurant was too dark for my liking. Very claustrophobic . All I could think about was if there was a fire how would I get out? The food was good. The waitress was lovely. My fillet was overcooked. The taste was very good if I went back, which I would, I would eat outside and know how to order my meat.
