The White Lion Walkern

Today on Mother's Day, we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast with our mothers and stepfathers at The White Lion. The service was excellent and we felt very welcomed. Thank you to everyone at the lovely pub.

Well I had a few years ago some pie and mash with liquor in Clacton, it was not nice at all. Had some here, it was delicious. Service was really good, very caring. Really good pub atmosphere, never been there before, but the regulars made me feel welcome as well as the staff did. Really recommend.

Lovely roast dinner with friends on a Sunday. The staff could not do enough to accommodate our 2 young children. Will be back again soon, many thanks!
