They were also willing to accept a pre-order. Jenny, our server, was fantastic and very helpful in bringing out our dishes and taking care of us throughout the meal. Thank you to Jenny and the rest of The Woolpack team for accommodating us on such short notice.
Upon first glance at the menu, one would assume that The Woolpack is almost impossible for vegans. But actually, there are so many little hidden menu items that just take a small substitution to make them vegan. I had an absolutely scrumptious bean burger with chips, some garlic bread and some homemade nachos topped with guacomole, three bean chilli and salsa. The portion sizes were incredibly generous. I was also impressed that they had biodegradable straws. All in all, this is a brilliant place for vegans!
Poor selection of vegan options tried to order the falafel wrap and was advised they had ran out of falafel this was the only option labelled as vegan on their menu, the bar staff confirmed with the chef that their Super salad was sfv, it tasted nice but was the size of a side salad. Personally I wouldn’t bother visiting again unless they improve their menu.
Excellent space for a pint. to have decent burgers, but the pub classics are missing. small pub total. the other clenches we are, which keeps the atmosphere alive. the outside door is very beautiful. the bathrooms are sufficient and clean.
