The restaurant served delicious food, but I believe I visited during a very busy rush-hour when there were errors with other customers' orders.
This sit-down restaurant is a local favorite for my family and me, where you place your order at the counter.
Sigh. I really want to love this restaurant. However, most of my visits have been mediocre as far as food/service. This last visit was the worst. The restaurant was closing at 10 so my date and I thought we had lots of time by arriving at 9. It took about 15 minutes for someone to just take our drink order, and they didn't return for at least another 10. We finally put in our food order, with soup as an appetizer. The soup didn't arrive until about 9:45. Despite saying minutes later that we were DEFINITELY ready for our main meals, the server didn't bring them out until about 10:10. My hamburger was dry and didn't have any of the sauce. Thankfully my date's food was good. We ate quickly as it was obvious they were trying to close. We got the bill around 10:40. It was pretty ridiculous. There were a few tables when we came in but it had mostly cleared out by 9:30. I have no idea why the service was so.incredibly.slow.Also, found the servers hair in our leftovers...I know it was hers because it was dyed bright yellow.
We ordered take out pizza from here. I think we paid $50 for 2.The toppings and sauce were ok, but the crust was thin and a bit on the bland side. The inside decor seemed nice and the staff was friendly and it didn't take long for the pizzas to be prepared.I have heard good things about the other food here, but we have yet to dine in to try it.
