I also dislike that they only take reservations, as it forces you to commit to a specific number of guests and charges $15 per person for a reservation. If you are 15 minutes late, you are required to order a fixed meal. Despite the unnecessary reservation policy, the bartender was excellent and made well-balanced cocktails. I started with a Lemon Drop Martini and Jerk Wings, which were amazing. The Shrimp Roti appetizer was also delicious. My friends ordered Surf Turf Salmon, Oxtails, and Lamb Chops, which were all tasty. The Crab Cakes were decent as well. The brunch atmosphere seemed more suitable for a younger crowd due to the loud music, but the dinner atmosphere was more upscale with softer music. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of staff. This is a great place for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or date nights, as the pricing is geared towards upscale clientele. My only complaint is the high prices, as my husband and I paid $39.50 for just two drinks. Overall, it was a nice experience, but the pricing may be a bit too high for casual dining.
Did my wife’s birthday brunch here last year summer. Vibe was great but came here October 12th for brunch and it was just one person there seating you, answering the phone, probably cooking and bartending. He had me waiting to to even greet us properly. Waiting for 15min while he was taking big party order over the phone while already seated guest wait for him to make drinks. So we just walked out. This can’t be customer service at all!!? Rather spend my money somewhere that actually wants to get me..
Food was Average and the service was slow . It was kind of late . But Overall , Nothing special to come back too .
Overpriced for mediocre food. I ordered stuffed lobster thinking i was getting buttered breadcrumbs like they usually do. But they sautéed lobster with gravy and put it in back into half of the lobster. Waiter was cool but manger with the glasses was super nasty. I didn 't get my macaroni and asked if they could take it off the bill and the manager goes do you want it to go or do you just want it off the bill and i said you can just take it off the bill and he huffs and puffs shakes his head and walks away pushes the kitchen the door aggressively just angry and rude. Ambiance and music was cool but very mediocre food. Better off going to the local Jamaican spot rather than spending $500+ on a bill.
Are you ready for the scoop? Let's dish...my friends and I visited this restaurant on the same day my mother passed away, and it was a much-needed escape to enjoy a good meal with good company. The cocktails, food, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The music was mellow and didn't overpower our conversation. Our dishes arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. The seafood was perfectly seasoned and the pasta was cooked to perfection. While my initial visit to this restaurant left me underwhelmed, this second experience has won me over. I highly recommend giving it a try.
