Recommended!! . We've enjoyed Smokey D's smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving the last 2 years. This past Christmas we chose an amazing ham! I recently tried Smokey D's Pork steaks. Thick, tender, and delicious, just like every other item we've enjoyed from here. A real hidden gem! Update: 12/22 They have Ham again for Christmas! I ordered Sweet and Smokey.

I evaluate this place a 3 because they dismiss swai as cats. Although swai in the catfish family it is not the catfish that most of us eat. some people eat swai (every time.) Swai fish is more gummy and mushy in texture than cats. wels fries more crawler than swai and wels has a better taste in my opiniom. I personally am not a Swai fan. If you want a real TASTY catfish, then check d’squared. the cats are one of their most popular items and they will definitely know that they eat cats.

This is the 3rd or 4th name change. I got a snoot that was crispy and sauce was tasty.

Found this #1 Trip Advisor choice on DDD as we were passing through Des Moines and WOW! Hubby had the 1 meat lunch with chopped pork, fries, beans and Texas toast! Pork was perfectly smoked, beans were zippy and the fries were the seasoned/battered ones yum! We added on 2 ribs and plan to stop back on the way home to pick up more of those ribs!! I had the Pork Egg Rolls with the BBQ Glaze to dip. While they were very tasty, the amount of pork was not the amount shown in the picture on the menu. On “Chopped,” the judges would have said “not a good use of the key ingredient.” Luckily, my husband had so much chopped pork that I was able to add to each bite of my egg rolls.
