Just went out of the way to try this place and apparently they don't serve BBQ.... So much for trying to support local business
Silly control of carts after recent rain. Any golfer worth their salt knows how to utilize course courtesy such as rough only travel, 90 degrees, avoid puddles etc, so restricting carts to paths only is greedy and offensive. I ride at 70 years cuz I can’t comfortably walk. Cart paths only is almost worse than walking. There were plenty of rangers to remind players to stay on paths, utilize those same staff in better course management. I learned to play here 34 years ago and will likely not return.
Very disappointing experience. I booked a reservation through Open Table for 10AM brunch on Father's Day, only to arrive at the restaurant to have absolutely no brunch in sight. The woman at the snack bar was very confused, but at least nice about telling us that 2 Jerks does not even begin cooking their food until 11AM, and they definitely do not do brunch. Not only did we need to find another place to eat on a very busy day, but we drove all the way there for absolutely nothing but an empty snack bar and a function hall with a sticky floor. I'd recommend that they coordinate better with reservation websites if they are going to use them...it's incredibly frustrating as a customer to think you are all set with plans only to show up and have all of the information wrong.
Great place for casual dining. BBQ ribs and brisket are fantastic. Fish sandwich and pizzas are also very good. But the best feature is their outdoor seating...BEST VIEWS in the area. Not only of the golf course, but also of the wild bird nesting area. I can't wait to try out Prime Rib night on Thursday. Definitely worth a visit.
