Cameo - Edinburgh, City of

Amazing pub, great food. I often go there for the food and a nice drink. If you don't like sports, avoid on match days as it can be quite busy. On the other hand if you like sports it's a great atmosphere and they have all the screens you need.

Food gorgeous staff polite and professional. Plenty room between tables. Toilets spotless. Definitely go back.

The new refurbished Cameo is looking rather dapper. Another addition to the other cool little spaces down by the shore. I wouldn't say I'd travel to it, but if I lived above it I wouldn't be complaining. It's dark, moody colours and dim lighting is nothing compared to the rather obnoxious gold statue when you walk in the door.. I don't see the point in that at all! All the usual suspects when it comes to a bar/restaurant, perhaps too much choice isn't a good thing, let's all remember the quality of Little Chef.
