Pomegranate Express Old Town

Lovely staff in the cutest little restaurant! Food was amazing, definitely a place you order a few things to share. Lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection. Cocktails were delicious as well. Definitely recommend coming here!

Was here with family during a vacation. The food was good. Three stars because the lady serving us could not tell us the name of the dishes when she served us. She didn't know what the difference dishes was. We also ended up with some dishes we didn't order. We also didn't get the water we ordered.

I have been a regular visitor to Edinburgh over the last 15 years and have always enjoyed dining at The Pomegranate. Sadly there has been a steep decline in food standards recently. The hot mezze is served warm, the wine is not properly chilled, the supposed choice of Lebanese wines is down to one... The menu appears to have shrunk and one item 'Nokwa ', which was described as chickpea stew with cashew nuts was no more than a few chickpeas in what tasted like chinese takeaway curry sauce with 2 cashew nuts thrown in; very inauthentic. Sadly, I will not be going back.

A lovely evening meal, food was delicious mezze diahes were fantastic. Staff were friendly and attentive.

We had dined here in February during a rugby weekend and had an amazing experience. Therefore, we were desperate to return with new friends. We were so glad to be back at Pomegranate. Our friends loved it as much as we did the first time we tried this restaurant! Every dish was delicious, we especially loved the Qozy lamb and the Mezze selection we had all tasted amazing. The cocktails were great and service was as excellent as the last time. Though they are very busy the staff are very friendly and make time to stop and have a chat and have a lot of knowledge of the menu. We cant wait to be back at this amazing restaurant!!
