However, we quickly noticed that most of the guests were ordering Hookah pipes and filling them with water, rather than ordering food. Initially, we found this to be interesting but not disruptive. However, as the evening progressed, the place became filled with guests smoking and the air became thick with smoke, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal. It was disappointing to find that the focus of the cafe seemed to be on smoking rather than dining, especially since we had purchased the Groupon specifically for the food.
Enjoy a hearty and relaxing lunch in a new location on the street. the service was attentive, but well spaced. kafta was beautifully spiced and greasy salate was very fresh. the servings were great, and all at the table agreed that we would go completely and return. Has...cafe de ville deco with new accented beautiful transition time, while the warm atmosphere.
We recently visited the new Cafe Amber with a group on the road south of Jasper Avenue. We began with the falafel appetizer, followed by two different mixed grills for our main course, ending with the delicious baklava for dessert. Every bite was enjoyable, with fresh and tasty food. The baklava was particularly amazing. Although dining here was a bit pricey, the service was friendly and overall we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this charming little restaurant.
This small café offers delicious food at a reasonable price. Everything is fresh and made on site, so customers may have to wait a bit for their meal, but it is worth it. It is also great for takeout.
Fatoush (a salad) is phenomenal (my daughter's descriptor). For about it's a bargain. I had the combination platter with beef and chicken plus humus, baba ganouche, musakaat, two different kinds of bread and some other things. It was tasty and reasonably priced. They...do take out and have a few tables.
