Stepping Stone - Eilean Siar

The restaurant offers generous portions of delicious food. While the menu is not extensive, it does offer a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was efficient and friendly. Be sure to save room for dessert, as they are definitely worth trying!

Well what to say, another lovely meal in the stepping stone. They have a menu but also check out the specials board. Eaten here a few times over the past years, and never had a bad meal or experience in it. Staff are always polite, attentive, and give a warm welcome. Will be back next year again.

We arrived at the restaurant hoping to grab a quick morning coffee on our way through. Upon entering, we found nearly all tables available except for two. We were greeted by a rude woman who immediately asked if we wanted to order food. We politely mentioned that we only wanted a coffee, to which she replied that we shouldn't sit there if we weren't ordering food. She then proceeded to serve other customers who arrived after us. Disappointed by the service, we decided to leave. We recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to deal with an attitude along with your coffee. It seems like they may be understaffed, but there is no excuse for treating customers this way.

This is not a restaurant, cafe at best. Food poor quality and overpriced. Mislead by pricing as lunch-time prices on display not evening ones (we had gone for an evening meal! . Photos of premises not a true reflection!
