Papa Gianni's Goldorado Shopping Center

I have been a loyal customer of Papa Gianni for 2 years and cannot help but praise the wonderful staff. The food is amazing, but the staff, especially Marcus and Melissa, are truly the heart of the restaurant. Their open, welcoming attitude towards me during a difficult time has meant the world to me. I am eternally grateful for their care and support. For anyone looking for a fabulous Italian meal, Papa Gianni is the place to be.

This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. My husband and I make sure to visit at least once every month or two. The customer service is excellent, with a rating of 4. The atmosphere gets a 4.5 rating and the food is a perfect 10. The bread is nothing special, but the real standout is the pasta. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is cozy yet beautiful. The restaurant may give off a formal vibe, but most customers are dressed casually. My favorite dish is the fettuccine quattro formaggi.

Best Italian cuisine in el dorado county! the menu has everything you can imagine and also a wonderful children's menu! the prizes are so favorable for the huge parts! each of us loved what we ordered! the children could not stop eating the garlic bread, and explained that it was the best garlic bread in the world! they had dessert every Italian one they could imagine! we have no reason to ever go to another Italian restaurant in the countryside!

The service was excellent at this restaurant. Our server, Casey, was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great recommendations. The appetizer included garlic bread, salad, and penne marinara. I opted for the pollo alla cacciatore, which was slightly sweeter than expected but still delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the marinara sauce on the penne was outstanding. The salad was fresh with the perfect dressing. For dessert, we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake and tiramisu. The tiramisu was fantastic, light, and flavorful. The cheesecake was a bit heavy, especially after the tiramisu. Overall, I was very pleased with the food quality and experience. I will definitely be back.

The BEST pizza around. Is it the dough, sauce, or cheese? I haven't a clue, if you want a pie, look no further. The pasta is ALWAYS hot and tasty. Prepare to bring home leftovers, because the portions are too much for an average person. The service is outstanding!!!!!!! It is always a treat to go to Papa's. Great Food, Great Service, you cannot go wrong. I am going to cut this short, I just made myself HUNGRY!!!!!
