It was a small worm, right in the middle of one of the oysters, alive. I called the server, and he took the plate away with just a minor apology. I was expecting at least the manager to say something about it, not even a beep. They continued working as if nothing had happened. I guess we skipped a visit to the hospital.
We visiting Paso for a month and this was one of the restaurants that was recommended to us by some locals we met at a wine tasting. Good selection of tequilas for sipping but the cocktails, served later, were average at best. Guacamole was good as were the salsa trio. My lobster tostada was served on a tostada that was so limp it had to be eaten with a fork, there was very little lobster, and it was covered in cilantro micro-greens, the one thing I specifically said I didn’t like. To top it off, we had to listen to one of the younger bartenders talk poorly about a couple at the bar behind their backs. Paso has a ton of good restaurants to explore, this is not one of them.
Cool atmosphere and friendly service. Ceviche lacked flavor, fish tacos were ok and ahi tuna crudo was good…our salsa trio never made it to us.
The food was ok, the margaritas were good (not great… but after drinking wine most days it was refreshing to the palette).
Great Food and the Service was Terrific. I came from Salinas and enjoyed the atmosphere.
