If they would have been on the beach I would have given them 5 stars, but unfortunately the location is nothing special.
I've been coming to Mendoza for more than 20 years and would heartily recommend it for a proper Spanish seaside tapas experience. In high season it is packed every lunchtime and evening, so grab a table where you can and fight your way to the bar. It is in no way fancy but the seafood is fresh and tasty the sardines are great, as are the prawns and clams and they have a really good range of alinos salpicon de marico, patatas alinadas, pimientos asados as well as meat dishes including carrillada (beef cheeks) and pinchitos (chicken skewers). Part of its appeal is that it never changes they've found a winning formula and are sticking to it. Long may they continue.
