We really enjoyed the entire experience when visiting Dallas, TX. The small intimate family style soul catering was full of hospitable service. I had the oxen, cabbage and yams and although my ox tails were not very warm it was delicious. My husband had the fried fish, red beans and rice with Mac and cheese. He loved it. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be back.
Home cooked food with love, hot and fresh and ready to devote. It was tasteless in almost every soul food restaurant I was. Not sure why. This place, however, has TONS of taste. These desserts are wonderful. This is a place you do not notice going past, but if you stop a chance, this is a must.
OMG! All right! The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. Although prices were not cheap, they were quite reasonable and justified more than by the quality of food. We'll be back.
We had a very large group on a Saturday we managed to order all but 2 items on the menu between us all! I 've never wanted or liked ANYthing with bananas in it... Decided, why not, and tried the banana pudding dessert. If i hadn 't been so full, i might have ordered one to go! EVERY single item/side on the menu was amazing. Nothing was 'lacking ' in any way! Get some Mac n ' cheese if/when you go!! It 's sooo good! 3 We eventually saw our cooks come out we applauded shook their hand.. ^w^ When someone makes you food THAT good, it 's almost mandatory! Lol
