Papa John's - Elgin

I placed a carryout order through the app, and it was ready for pickup ahead of schedule. Both the cheese pizza and Philly cheese steak pizza were outstanding—flavorful, well-crafted, and cooked to perfection. The seasoned breadsticks were also delicious and perfectly cooked. I was thoroughly impressed with the food I picked up today.

Last night, this restaurant was incredibly busy. However, the delivery driver arrived with a big smile, which really made my evening better. Dealing with unhappy customers for hours, especially on a Friday, and still bringing that positive energy says a lot about this pizza shop. Keep up the great work, everyone!

The restaurant employs DoorDash drivers during peak times. Unfortunately, when the DoorDash driver arrived, they didn't ring the doorbell, knock on the door, or even text me, which resulted in my pizza sitting outside for about 20 minutes. I called the restaurant, and the employee was very helpful and kind; they sent out another pizza, and the delivery driver from the restaurant was also very courteous. I don't hold the restaurant responsible for the mix-up. I give them 5 out of 5 stars—DoorDash can be overlooked in this case! The pizza was delicious as always.

My pizza was made fairly quickly, I followed the track my order and arrived a few minutes early she already had my drink ready and gave me tons of Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers (which most places won’t do) As soon as I got my pizza it was steaming hot just like I like it breadsticks were perfect pizza was made beautifully it was such a good pizza that I will be frequenting this Papa John’s a lot! Also the lady working as the cashier couldn’t have been any nice THANK YOU!!!!
