Steak 'n Shake - Elgin

The experience is not so good when ordering on a screen. it seems to be less personal. we ate outside because there was so much smoke in the area of the grills. that was delicious. I go back to steak and shake, but I will probably not visit this place because of the smoke again. the personal was nice, but overall it seems as if it could be a bit attentiveness.

Google cards said they were open, and there was at least one car there, but still nobody contacted us while we waited for every sign of life. two stars since it was early in the morning and it was perhaps too early

What can I say.. Just average service from an average fast food joint.Got a milkshake and it tasted ok

Very disappointed with the food. Before it was better service and food portions for the price. Never coming back again. The remodel went worse.

They were so nice to my doggo in the drive thru today! A fun staff is makes all the difference, thank you
