He made an old fashioned with a lavender bourbon, and my friend really enjoyed it. The scotch eggs were tasty, but maybe a touch over cooked. The dragon balls were delicious, and I would definitely order them again. For mains, we had fish tacos with chips and fries. The fish tacos were good, but could use a sauce to bring it all together. The chips and fries were both very well made! I will definitely be back next time I pass through.
A nice local pub style restaurant in downtown Elizabethtown with a nice atmosphere and live music on Friday/Saturday nights. The service is good and the food is tasty. If you haven't already been here I think you'll be pleasantly pleased. If you're concerned with parking there's plenty available just behind the restaurant and it's also convenient to other local bars, restaurants, and shopping in the heart of downtown ... all within a short walk.
I had the Bitchin' Reuben Dinner and it was very good. I called ahead and ordered take out but once I arrived I wished I had eaten there for the great atmosphere. Good price and great food.
So the positive, this place was kinda eclectic and cool. The food we got was really great. The bad, we waited 20 minutes to get a water, we ordered.an appetizer that never came. The one waitress was really struggling. Even when it got down to just two tables she couldn't really remember to get stuff. Like our bill, our drinks, or pretty much anything. So if you can be patient, the food is worth waiting.for. I had an awesome burger with great flavor and the onion rings were fresh and fried on site I think. If you're in a hurry or get frustrated easily, maybe try something else.
This place looked like an interesting, eclectic dive. The place we like to try against the chain types restaurants. I had the Reuben sandwich and my husband had the Brisket Melt. Both meats were very hard and mostly fat and really small portions. The Wicked Fries were burned outside, but they were soggy, I guess with fat. There was only one person who worked the front of the restaurant as a host, waiter and bartender, and when we left there were 6 tables to neigent. We like to go from the usual restaurants and most of the time we are pleasantly surprised, unlike very disappointed. We're not coming back.
