The Local - Elk Rapids

So good! Casual diner atmosphere with awesome food. Any place that serves breakfast past 11 and will give you a side of avocado is my kind of place.

My son and I stopped in for breakfast this morning and we loved it! The atmosphere was great, friendly staff, great service. I was also impressed with the menu, they had some new creations but also good basic breakfast choices. The food was delicious and we got plenty of it! We will be be regulars now�

We are spoiled by The Local. We go every week and have never had poor service or anything but awesome food. Their breakfast menu is just the right size along with their lunch menu. Some places give you too many choices. I have never heard a microwave being used in this restaurant but i have run into the owner at the local grocery store buying fresh ingredients to make their awesome food. They are great with children, clean, and reasonably priced. This is a staple for our family because they treat us like family.

This is a great find. great food .great service. i was impressed with the menu . i cant wait to go back and try something different. i had the monte cristo. it had real turkey and real ham, not deli style meat.

The best food, service, and atmosphere. You must try stuffed hash browns and chi latte. 5 stars!
