We were feeling hungry, so we decided to check it out without having high expectations. To our delight, we were pleasantly surprised! The food is made from scratch, and they had a variety of pizzas and tomato pies ready to go. The staff was friendly and had our orders warmed up and served within minutes. Everything was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza, and my friend opted for the tomato pie, and both were excellent. We also tried a piece of tiramisu made by the owner's mother, and it was the best I’ve had outside of Italy!
I would like to update my review regarding the tomato pie at Trio's in Elkins Park: I ordered a Longabardy with extra sauce, and it was delivered in just 20 minutes, still warm. The only downside was that there wasn't enough for a single person. The pie itself, however, was excellent, just as it should be. My previous complaints were more about poor customer service than the quality of the food. My girlfriend and her family have been ordering from a restaurant in Glenside for years, and it’s consistently great. It's a BYOB place with fantastic salads and excellent delivery service!
