She is now one of the best of 209 Magazine for Aug/Sept as she had a article about getting on a kayak in SF bay McCovey Cove for a Giants game. We look forward to staying at the Garden Inn in Emeryville again.
Parking was spacious and well lit. Room was clean and presentable. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, and the food and beverages were on par with the tastebuds. Both the fitness center and spa area were clean and tidy. I used both during my stay. I would recommend more washers and dryers on site; the one washer and dryer were always in use. I would recommend this location to anyone.
All around good place to stay. Hotel is well maintained, many onsite amenities including restaurant/bar. Public free transportation via Emerygo system is within very short walking distance; through the parking lot and you're there. Staff was both welcoming and accommodating. I was checked in by Nikki and she has exceptional customer service skills. Beautiful views of the bay, walking trail and boat marina also within walking distance.
Service is great, main entrees are decent but the fries are chef’s kiss.Food: 4/5
We booked based on location to where we were going. I think the room was clean and comfortable. It is off a major highway, we tried muffing the sound with the room fan but did not make for a good night sleep. My major issue with the hotel was the $25 parking fee. A total required upsell fee and too steep as the parking is not covered, lit or valet. Just an added fee as they know most customers will need parking.
