From someone who grew up eating Filipino food, I 10/10 love coming to this place! The dazzling sisig is hard to pass as it is a showtopper when it comes out of the kitchen and each head turns around to see where the amazing smell comes. When I come here, we share the cups of tapas style, so we can experience all different dishes. If you've never had Filipino food, or don't know what to order, I definitely recommend the lumps, chicken sabo and sisig! You won't be disappointed!
I worked nearby and it was one of my favorite lunch spots. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the decor is very welcoming and relaxed. The lunch menu offers a lot to a good price. I want to make it back for dinner here so I can explore the menu more.
Great Filipino food! The dishes are centered on an American taste. We have the lumps, Kare Kare, Pancit canton and Lachs Sisig. The lumps were very pleasant and super crispy. The Kare Kare was tasteful and delicious. For the desert we have, Halo halo and bibingka. The Halo Halo was not traditional, there were no beans, Langka, jelly or coconut, but the overall taste was good. The Bibingka was amazing, the best while warm. The server is friendly and attentive, the food comes very fast. Overall, a great restaurant and I recommend for some great Filipino cuisine. 5/5 stars!
This resaurant is definitely a good introduction to Filipino food. The pork adobo and halo-halo were more mild in flavor. The pork sisig was different with the red, yellow and green bellpeppers and the meaty-meats (not the porky bits one is used to when eating homestyle/ authentic versions. The garlic fried rice was garlicky good. The classic lumpia could have had a little more stuffing. The star dish was the lechon kawali. It was crispy and not at all dried out. It was a perfect cook. Overall, the dishes were enjoyable, just more tapered to American palate. That being said, we 'd still like to come back and try the other menu items.
