Papillon Italiano Da Nino

Very overpriced. Food not good as should be according the price. “Day vegetables” steamed frozen broccoli and carrots .Not going back there again.

Our friends eat here regularly, with the restaurant coming highly recommended. We received a warm welcome and this was extended throughout the evening. When deciding what to eat, the waiter warned that the starters were a fair size and he was correct. The mussels were a size that you would normally see as a main in other restaurants, which were soft and beautifully cooked in a lovely sauce. Two of us went for skate, which again was a good size and once more, the meals were perfectly cooked, with the flesh being soft and milky. The pizza was prepared with care and such was the size that some was boxed to take away. The fillet Rossini was again cooked to perfection and was full of flavour, being accompanied by the right amount of vegetables. A great evening all round with a wonderful atmosphere with the others diners clearly enjoying themselves. I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough and we will definitely be returning sooner rather than later.

Had the most wonderful evening at Papillion in Chigwell last night 72 of us, food was piping hot and service was excellent. well done. Best evening ever.

Fabulous food and excellent service. All in all a great venue for lunch or evening meal. Really good place to take the family!

I had a family party of 20 for Sunday lunch at Paillon last week , including two toddlers and a 90 year old. Staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming and very accommodating. Food and service was excellent. I can highly recommend this restaurant. All round an excellent afternoon.
