I work from home a lot and so am often on the lookout for cafes that have decent wifi and relaxed atmosphere where you can work on the laptop while having a tea/coffee and a light meal. The staff are friendly and don't mind if you settle in for a while. Food and coffee are good. Though the menu is pretty limited, the things they do, they do very well. If you are after dessert/sweet stuff you should go elsewhere because they don't really have cakes or sweet treats. Would recommend for a laid back catch up with friends or for some solo time to read/work.
The reason we think this café is underrated is because it doesn't have enough reviews. It has a cute atmosphere and every time we go there for breakfast/brunch we try something new and it's AMAZING. The breakfast menu is small, there are extra dishes that last a few weeks before changing to something new, but it is in no way disappointing and executed perfectly - we are vegetarians so this point about having a small menu that doesn't disappoint means a lot. The coffee is great as well.We have also been there for lunch a couple of times, we got salads and they were also fantastic. Very fresh and great flavours together - also extremely filling.
For some reason, the toast at this cafe tastes better than any other toast. It's delicious. They have great coffee and juices. The interior has so much character, really like this place.
Our first stop on our tapas crawl was this restaurant. We were drawn in by the bustling activity of the lone bartender and waiter we saw from the outside.
The wrinkled potatoes were surprisingly delicious. At first glance, they may just seem like baked fingerling potatoes, but they are surprisingly tasty and addictive.
