Böhmerwald - Eschlkam

We had booked a double room, but even a small suite with a entrance, separated by a door, a living room and separated by a door the small bedroom. of course also with bath in which there was a bath; which we did not use because we always shower in the beautiful and great wellness area, obviously a new part of the main building. our little suite was in the next building, but we knew it before. the next building seemed even more beautiful from outside than the main building, but was already a bit dusty inside. above all the chair and the carpet floor in our bedroom seemed very easy to renovate. the road between the main building and next to the building leads over a road that is not much traveled (a few kilometers further is the Czech border without cross-border passage,) but when a car arrives, then in the regular very flott - and that, although a traffic sign with an additional board “hotel facility” max. 40 km/h. even if they have the room in the main house, it can be that they want to go over the street more often because in the next gym the food was excellent. the breakfast buffet with good choice and beautifully prepared. there was a snack. there were four courses for dinner; in the main court in the rule a selection between three, one of them vegetarian. all very tasty and plentiful – there would always be a suggestion, but we did not. I would like to describe the style as a local and good bourgeois, but in the rule with the supplement: health-conscious nutrition. a 0.5 liter beer or radler costs 2.90 eur (stand märz 2018). in the afternoon coffee and cake are served; the cake pieces were really big and very tasty – and to pour 2.10 eur per piece. the chef of the hotel, andreas is a uriger type, which is all duzt and also holds to dozens. he organizes with his guests several times the week interesting activities; we took part in three: first a hike in which we were about. 7 km long, quite fleeting steps have gone through fields and forests, which are gradually interrupted by interesting Andreas declarations, e.g. via the dead farms in the Bavarian forest, about the forestry industry with the fight against the bark and the ecological farming. the second event was a torch hike that ended with a campfire; that was rather a cozy walk where andreas snows, lügner and the children of limonade; This activity therefore also costs three euro unpaid costs. the third event I found most interesting was a nutritional consultation with many information I have not yet expressed, but also provocative, such as b: the fight against cancer alone by proper nutrition – I will continue to inform myself about other sources because that has attracted my interest. in this nutritional course helped andreas the children who were thrilled with it, among other things small cut; for they were also allowed to taste and taste a lot and, although all these were very healthy, they tasted great. in general it could be observed that andreas children can treat very well. the practical reception is not good there; often my practical reception has shown me in the d1 network “Nur Notrufe”, sometimes he has opted for the Czech network. when I walked from the hotel just a few meters west, I soon had the full reception in the d1 network. andreas, the chief of the hotel told us (on our question, after we saw him in the grippy east, it was on the phone that it was one that I did not notice what net that is. the in-house wlan is free and also works without password, but only goes in the reception, lobby and restaurant of the main house; good to the most important things that it was enough.

A wonderful experience and super friendly service staff. We are happy and happy to come back.

Very nice and family-friendly hotel. I have absolutely nothing to complain and we have come to this point. The food was excellent and if the children didn't like the buffet, an alternative was offered.
