After waiting for some time, a server finally greeted us and informed us that there were not enough staff to cover the tables. With only three tables in the restaurant, we decided to wait and returned after about 20 minutes. However, after waiting for an additional 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us, we left. The strong odor in the restaurant was a clear indication that we should not dine there. It's unfortunate that our experience was disappointing, as we enjoy dining out.
We had a reservation for 5:00, but we were not seated until 6:00. When we arrived, the hostess told us they were preparing our table; it took an hour to prepare a table? The waitress was friendly, but there were very few customers waiting. They ran out of glassware. The food was warm, but not hot. The turkey was delicious, but the Brussels sprouts had an unusual taste. We ended up taking our desserts home, as they were generously sized. Normally, Macaroni Grill is known for getting people in and out quickly. It's unclear if this slower experience was due to Thanksgiving or staffing shortages because of Covid.
We've been there many times and never had a problem. The problem was not entirely hers, but they seemed unprepared to deal with personnel, etc. problems. Our waiter (Maxx) tried his best, but there were kitchen problems: the bread was not baked and the salad cook had a problem. The food when we finally got it was good. Because of our previous experience, we have not held this against them.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. We were very happy. Our first time there. We'll be back soon.
This was my first time dining there. Everything was very quick and that’s what I really like. I have no doubt that in the future, I’ll probably come there again.
