However, it is not acceptable for customers to drive 13 minutes for a potential $200 order for two families, only to find that the restaurant is unexpectedly closed. This situation left the reviewer feeling unhappy.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, even when Ray owned it. I have never had a bad meal here. The chicken rolls taste homemade and are just as delicious as their special fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and steak with tomato rice. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in Melbourne. Yum!
This small restaurant has been in business for over 30 years. They serve the best roasted rice that I have ever had! I don't mind driving over 40 minutes just to eat here. The staff is friendly and the satay chicken dish is a favorite!
They have been here for years and still love the special fried rice and dim sims. Actually, it makes me hungry typing these .
This used to be so good however the food was very different to what we had in the past. Special fried rice was very dry and lacked flavour. Singapore noodles were drowned in soy sauce and had no veggies to speak of. Chicken satay sticks...were deep fried, dried out and with a very small amount of watery sauce with no taste of satay, The cost was nearly $30 for just edible food. I will not go again and advise others to try elsewhere.
