I went to the school in 70’s for a while and the couple who own the restaurant went to school here. There were just 2 classes, one for boys, one for girls. Now the restaurant, with tables in the square opposite, serves the freshest fish, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. Try it! Highly recommended!
Just arrived in Estepona, first call is always the Virgen del Carmen. There is the indoor dining room, there are a few tables outside the front, and best of all, the charming peaceful Plaza, with the Chapel at one end, the statue of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in the middle, and the sea view at the other end. The service is so welcoming and charming, the food so good. Homemade freshly cooked for you, just traditional decent Spanish food. No wonder we go back time and time again.
We have just had some of the tastiest fish ever, beautifully cooked . Very friendly , helpful waiter owner Juan ,and his wife doing the cooking, making it an excellent family run restaurant serving authentic Spanish food. Good atmosphere as busy with locals.
Kitchen place simple and very rich. staff of 10.
Fresh fish and sell half rations. reasonable prices. Very good food.
