This place is not quick in terms of making its food since there are often times they have to individually prep a single side item just to put on a sub.For instance, a fat shack (name of the sub), is a cheesesteak with chicken strips, jalepeno poppers, fries, and mozerella sticks on the sub which they make fresh for each sub which results in the food taking a bit to be made. Many of their subs are like this and in turn I would recommend you dont come here if you have a tight schedule. Only come if you have a bit of time to spare,
The food was okay, and the fries were good. The atmosphere is not great, the oversized menu is displayed so high you have to crane your neck to read it.There is only one table on the ground floor, so you'll most likely need to go to the second floor for seating. The tables against the wall are not centered with the flood light above it, leaving the person sitting under it in an actual spotlight.I do like that they are open late and the food seems to be made to order.
Really unique menu makes me want to come back for more. The service was fast and friendly. I got my order to go so it was too late that we realized the sandwich we split was missing a couple items that were supposed to be part of the meal, so next time I 'll order to stay and have a few bites before taking it home. What lost the star was that and of the 3 plain cheeseburgers not one of those was complimented or finished. However I would not base my rating on plain cheeseburger obviously it 's up to the consumer to fix that however they want it. I 'm just glad that 's not what I ordered. The strawberry milkshake is amazing. I 'd go to Fat Shack for a shake any day
Ordered the large cheese stake and added bacon. It was decent but they forgot the bacon. My biggest issue is how small it was. I spent almost $15 and it was tiny...
This place used to be good. I 'd stop by whenever my family and I walked past, because they Used to have the best fries in town. Not anymore! I paid $6 for large french fries that amounted to 1 potato. About a ⅓ the size it used to be. And, on top of that, they 're made like any other generic fast food fries, not the special crunchy double-fried they used to make them. They should change their name to Skinny Shack , and I should 've listened to my husband and went to 5 Guys, instead.Looking forward to the new business which will grace that building, because they 're not going to last running that way.Can 't believe I tipped them.
