Lalito’s Taqueria - Eugene

Everything is excellent here and this is the best Taqueria in Eugene. The tacos are scrumptious and even though the green pork tamale is a little spicy it is so fresh and so flavorful. I love this place!

Ive found heaven with Lalitos Taqueria, best Mexican food in Eugene that Ive tried. I got adventurous and tried the Quesabirra Taco plate with chips and salsa, which was outstanding. Their salsa is the best Ive had in decades and the chips were freshly made, not out of a plastic bag. Ill be back for sure.

Pretty good food…can’t say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve had as I’m from phoenix, but for Eugene I can say it was my second favorite that I’ve had the 16 years I’ve been here and will definitely order again. Burritos were super huge and you know what they say about super huge burritos right? They take more paper to wrap see what I did there…ok lame joke.

Its good but not as good compared to the quality and taste of a year ago, which is dissapointing considering the prices have risen. Ordered 2x this year hoping for the food I used to say was my fav in Eugene. Elote Corn used to be tightly wrapped in tinfoil to keep it warm- this time I recieved it in a paper plate and uncovered paper bag- messy and room temp at best, and lacking seasoning. Quesabirria taco each taco w consomé was bland and my lime was struggling to even give a drop. Strawberry milk agua fresca and Churros Rellenos Stuffed Churros were good but overall NOT worth 30$ :

Been on a hunt for good mexican food in eugene for a while. absolutely fantastic Plato Quesabirria taco plate, been hoping to try those for a while, instant convert. (ordered again the same day lol . really enjoyed the Side of rice and Side of beans, genuinely great. the Churros Rellenos Stuffed Churros are stuffed with what looks like raspberry cream cheese and are **** decadent, Chips and salsa are homemade and fresh. food can be a little underseasoned but barely, and meat can be on the fatty or greasy side, but neither are a problem for me at all. highly recommend :
