O Parque Dos Leitoes- Evora - Évora

We had a fabulous dinner with a delicious local red wine and the most succulent suckling pig! We shall definitely return.

Our hotel was a across the street and a no brainer to try since the logo of the restaurant was a suckling pig on a spit. We made reservations the day before and was greeted warmly on our big day by the host known lovingly as Mouse. We were seated quickly in a great location inside as our request. Adri was our waitress who spoke perfect English and was greatly patient in our selections and the explanations she gave us on our meal choices which were made easily because each dish contained a large photo next to it in the menu. I had the suckling pig and my wife the pork medallions. Adri was fantastic through out the meal and Mouse even stopped by to check on us as well. The superb quality of the food was only matched by the warm service. Quality and the taste was outstanding, portions were perfect and the prices were more than reasonable. I can only say you must stop there while in Evora.

Nothing chain restaurant about this place. Quite classy in actual fact. Waiters very attentive and friendly. We had a cheese dip followed by the suckling pork. Shared, which is just as well as it was very rich. The accompanying sauce was delicious, a bit spicy but squeezed over with orange juice as suggested by the waiter it cut through the spicy and we ended up supping up the remains with bread. Lovely bottle of Vino Verde went beautifully with the meal. One thing to be aware of, you are offered a tray of starters to choose from… it appeared that they were gratis but I had seen them all on the menu so wasn’t surprised when we were charged for the pickled octopus we chose. We were going to order it anyway but the impression was choose as many as you like, be our guest sort of flourish.

De facto... um local onde o leitão não reina mas certamente o melhor leitão de Portugal!! Tinha visto os comentários a dizer o mesmo, e pensei para mim (como amante do leitão) tenho que ir experimentar... e tenho que concordar!! Local com uma atmosfera espetacular e chique, atendimento do melhor que já tive com todo o pessoal bastante atencioso e querido e a comida do melhor que Évora pode oferecer. Recomendo vivamente!! Nós pratos abaixo não tem o leitão mas será o prato que mais recomendo. Local muito concorrido, por isso aconselho a reservar primeiro, não se vai arrepender

Usei take-away de leitão, que estava muito bem servido e com um sabor excepcional. O atendimento foi impecável, atendendo aos condicionalismos do dia.
