This is an ABSOLUTE must do. This is a really cool idea. About 20 cats I would imagine just roaming around looking to be petted. You are not allowed to feed them which is a good thing or they would be huge !!!! They are all super friendly. Well groomed and treated very well by the staff. I will definitely go back again even if just for that experience. I would open a similar shop at home but I am guessing the board of health would not be too thrilled. Take the time, go out if your way. It is for sure something not to be missed in Chiang Rai.

The coffee and food etc are good, and good value, but aren't why you would go here. Sharing your eating space with a collection of felines(all very good looking, many different personalities, all sorts of varieties) is great. They generally ignore you but will investigate your stuff and usually allow you to pet them. But just having them around is fascinating and de-stressing

Whilst dipping Chiang Rai, make sure to stop by „drinking, eating, petting“ at this unforgettable place. Cat‘n‘a Cup is outstanding to have a perfect coffee and a delicious cake, surrounded by about 20 ultrachilled and heavenly treated cats. This place must be cats heaven, as some door rules make sure. Great relaxed atmosphere, stretch out on one of the mats on the floor and write some postcards, sure one cat chooses your back as a nice warm spot to have nap. I had that and a therapy for my lower back pain priceless! One freaky kitten stole a bit of my wife’s cheesecake seems like she misst that warning on the rules ; . Thought the animals are not officious at all. And I have to say: Every single one of them is a beautiful diva.

Very profitable venture! The cats are the stars, even if you’re not a real cat lover it’s still a funny place to have a cup of something and a piece of cake I enjoyed it and so did my husband.
