Sams Wonderful Taste Of Thai

One of the best Thai food restaurants I have visited in the US. The fried egg roll is delicious. Only have to-go option but there are nearby benches. Updated after moving to Fairbanks for one year: valuewise the best Thai restaurant in (or near? the town. Not comparing other dishes but their pad thai is definitely the best.

Sam’s Thai is great! They have large portions (same as all other Thai restaurants in Fairbanks) except about half the price! The food tastes just as authentic if not better! I highly recommend. I always order the Tom Kha chicken soup. Anywhere else in town will cost you $20, Sam’s is $13, same amount (rice included) and excellent fresh ingredients.

Sam’s has been my favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks for years, even through the change of ownership. The food and service are consistently amazing, and the quantities are generous. He actually gives enough rice for the entire meal, at no extra charge. And Lao always greets with a smile.

Really becoming one of our absolute must go to places in fairbanks. Very nice guy, and a beautiful view of the goldstream valley while you wait. Excellent Thai iced tea, nice drunken noodles, fresh and crunchy broccoli and vegetables, and a smile every time I go! I highly recommend it.

Great little food stand for goldstream. It's always hot and usually prepared quickly. Sam is always there to greet you with a smile.
